No number is ever due: each draw is independent.
Darker means drawn more often. The pattern is what randomness looks like over a short run.
Over 889 draws, chance alone gives each number about 103 appearances, and a fair draw puts roughly 95 in 100 of them between 83 and 122. Here 52 of 52 do. The most drawn, 46 (118×), and the least drawn, 21 (83×), are what randomness looks like over this many draws.
Are some Lotto numbers luckier?
No. Every draw is independent and every number has the same chance each time. A number that has come up often is not more likely next time, and one that has been missing for a while is not due. The counts above show the past, not the future.
If you like to play the most or least drawn numbers anyway, that is fine for fun: they have exactly the same odds as any other line. So does a random line.
How we count
We count every official Lotto result in our history that used today's 1–52 ball pool. The list updates after every draw. Draws from 24 September 2025 to 2 June 2026, when the game briefly used 58 balls, and from before August 2017, when it used 49, are left out so that every number had the same chance.
